Contact Our Napa Life Insurance Agents

Every conversation with us starts by phone, and the first one is spent looking at what you already hold. We learn what your coverage needs to do before we suggest a single policy.

What Happens When You Call

We start by asking questions. Who depends on your income? What debts would outlast you, such as a mortgage balance or a business loan? Which policies do you already hold through work or on your own? Many group policies tied to a job end when the job ends, and that gap is one of the most common things we find. We then tell you plainly what your current coverage does and does not do.

Options come second. A need with an end date, like a loan that will be paid off in twenty years, often fits term life or mortgage protection. A need that lasts as long as you do, such as funeral costs or money left to a beneficiary, may point to whole life, universal life or a final expense policy, and some callers also want retirement income planning. We explain how the face amount, the term length and your health history shape the premium, and what underwriting may ask for, such as a medical exam or prescription records. If what you own already fits, we say so. Clients in Napa, American Canyon and Yountville often take a day to think before applying, and that is fine with us.

Have These Close By Before You Call

  1. Any current policy pages, especially the declarations page showing the face amount, premium and any riders.
  2. The names of your current beneficiaries, so we can check that the designations still match your wishes.
  3. A rough figure for debts you would want paid off, such as a remaining mortgage balance or loans.
  4. A short list of your medications and any recent diagnoses, since underwriting will ask about both.
