Life Insurance Agents Serving Napa and the Towns Around It

We work with clients in Napa and across the southern valley, meeting at your business or by phone. Before we suggest any policy, we review what you already carry, what it would actually pay your beneficiary, and where the gaps are. Then we explain our findings in plain terms.

Towns We Cover in Person and by Phone

Napa, American Canyon and Yountville account for the bulk of our in-person visits, and we often sit down at your shop, office or tasting room during a quiet hour between customers. To the west, we see clients in Sonoma, Boyes Hot Springs, Fetters Hot Springs-Agua Caliente and El Verano. There, the first conversation is frequently by phone, which gives you time to pull your current policy pages before we look at them together.

South and east, we work with clients in Vallejo, Benicia, Fairfield and Suisun City. Plenty of people here live in one county and work in another, so a policy bought through one employer may not follow you after a job change. Wherever you are, the first visit runs the same way: we read the declarations page, check each beneficiary designation and list any riders, then tell you what the coverage does and does not do.

What Shapes Coverage Across the Area

  • Group coverage that ends with the job

Many clients rely on life coverage through work, which commonly equals one or two times salary and usually ends when employment does. We compare that amount against your debts, income years and dependents, so you can see the shortfall in numbers before deciding on term life or a permanent policy.

  • Seasonal and self-employed income

Business owners and people paid by the season or on commission often have uneven earnings. That affects how much coverage makes sense and which premium schedule you can hold steady. We look at a full year of income, not one good month, before sizing a policy.

  • California rules on reviewing a new policy

California gives buyers a free-look period after a life policy is delivered, at least 10 days and 30 days for applicants age 60 and older, to return it for a refund of premium. We walk through the delivered contract with you during that window so the terms match what was discussed.

  • Underwriting appointments

When a carrier asks for a paramedical exam, the examiner can usually meet you at your workplace. We tell you ahead of time what is checked, such as blood pressure, a blood sample and prescription history, and why it moves the rate class.

Bring Your Policy Pages to the First Call

Keep your current policy and any work benefits summary nearby, plus your latest mortgage statement if mortgage protection is on your list. We go through each document with you and report what we find before suggesting anything.
